Pennsylvania casino $35k fined for underage gambling

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) fined Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and racetrack $35,000 for allowing underage gambling.

According to PGCB, individuals under the age of 21 were also allowed to access the gaming floor and gamble. Casino operator Chester Downs and Marina was fined $35,000 for the offense.

PGCB also fined Sportshub a separate $13,000. A licensed fantasy contest operator was ruled to have changed the administration of the license without PGCB’s approval.

In related news, PGCB also announced a restraining order against individuals found to have left children unattended in casinos. Persons convicted of such crimes are added to the state’s involuntary exclusion list.
