FanDuel scores extension with Women’s Tennis Association

FanDuel Group, owned by Flutter Entertainment, has extended its multi-year partnership with the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).

Under this agreement, FanDuel will continue to be the Official Gaming Operator for the WTA Tour of North, South and Central America.

FanDuel will also continue to have access to WTA trademark and scoring data through Stats Perform, the WTA’s official data supplier.

Additionally, FanDuel will continue to promote responsible gambling and access to prevention, treatment and recovery resources.

“This partnership gives us the opportunity to work with the WTA to develop new and exciting products,” said Clifton Ma, FanDuel’s vice president of strategic partnerships. “These have increased interest and excitement in women’s tennis.

“FanDuel is committed to supporting women in sport and this partnership is a key pillar of that effort. We’ve celebrated women’s efforts.”

WTA President Mickey Lawler added: “The extension of VanDuel’s contract represents the WTA’s continued commitment to innovation.

“As fans continue to diversify the ways in which they consume and participate in the sport, we not only share our vision of enhancing the exposure of women’s tennis, but also ensure that our fans are comfortable using responsible gambling standards and practices. We are delighted to welcome a game operator who is committed to developing ‘To do so in a fun and safe way. ”

The extension was also announced by FanDuel last month, Canadian Football League (CFL).

This makes FanDuel the league’s first Official Gaming Operator and Official Sportsbook Partner.
