Pennsylvania self-exclusion registrations hit 20,000

US

In Pennsylvania, more than 20,000 consumers have voluntarily requested exclusion from gambling since the state’s self-exclusion policy began in 2006.

Players enrolled in the casino self-exclusion program are prohibited from entering and gambling at casinos and retail sports betting venues. Consumers can choose to self-exclude for one year, five years, or for life.

If you enter a gambling facility in violation of any of the prohibitions, you may be prosecuted for trespassing and may forfeit any gambling winnings related to your visit to the casino.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) announced that the program registered its 20,000th self-exclusion on June 5.
