Sports betting handles in Mississippi fell month-over-month again in May, but the state was able to report year-over-year revenue growth.

Players spent $26.8 million, down 8.2% from $29.2 million in May 2022, and April of this year.

Revenue for the month reached $3.2 million, up 52.4% from $2.1 million the year before, but down 25.6% from $4.3 million in April.

The coastal casino was once again the venue of choice for bettors, with a total of $16.8 million wagered and $1.3 million in revenue.
