QuinnBet nets extension with Hibernian – Marketing

Online gambling operator Quinbet has signed an extension of its partnership with Scottish Premiership football club Hibernian.

The renewed contract will run for two years, from 2023-24 to 2024-25.

QuinnBet branding appears on the front of the top team travel wear that players wear to every match.

Operators will also continue to benefit from the team’s presence on screens and pitchside LEDs at Easter Road Stadium. QuinnBet said he will start working with Hibernian in 2022.

“Working with the QuinnBet team over the last 18 months has been a real pleasure,” said Murray Milligen, head of commercials at Hibernian. “It is great to extend our partnership for another two years.

“Their work in raising awareness of responsible gambling is very important and we look forward to working closely with them to develop strategies to continue that.”

Quinbet marketing manager Niall McPartland added: “We enjoy a great relationship with the club and we are very honored to continue our sponsorship as the club celebrates its 150th anniversary.

“We take our social responsibility very seriously and would like to thank the commercial team at Hibbs for their support in partnering with the club to bring the promotion of responsible gambling to the fore.”

Focus on safer gambling for Kindred

The deal comes after Kindred Group revealed last month that it would use the Rangers’ shirt sponsor to promote its safer gambling activity, Journey to Zero.

For the 2023-24 season, Kindred will replace the 32Red branding on the front of players’ shirts with the logo of sister product Unibet.

Unibet’s branding is accompanied by the slogan “Zero % Mission”. This raises awareness of how Kindred works to eliminate all revenue derived from harmful gambling.

The initiative also aims to educate players about the tools available to keep gambling safe and enjoyable, and where to go in case of problems.
