Aspers to launch GiG-powered online product – Online casino

Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has announced an agreement to serve Aspers Group, a UK land casino operator.

The agreement includes GiG’s technology platform, managed services portfolio, front-end development, CRM, and marketing. This business provides Asper’s Group with a fully managed solution for running Asper’s online casinos. GiG claims that the transaction will reduce the complexity of moving retail businesses online and reduce operator entry costs.

The news follows the April announcement that the supplier has signed a long-term contract with an entity named “Tier 1” UK land operator.

The contract period is 3 years, followed by renewal options. The operator’s online service is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2022 and is expected to be profitable by the first quarter of 2023.

Richard Noble, CEO of Aspers, commented on the deal: Through this new platform, we will continue to prioritize safer gambling. This is because it is the center of everything we do. “

The provider said the UK online casino market is expected to generate £ 4 billion ($ 4.72 / € 4.72) in total gambling revenue (GGR) in 2022.

Richard Brown, CEO of GiG, said: “Especially if we can take advantage of’brand equity’and the retail footprint that Aspers holds in our omni-channel solutions, there is great potential in the UK. “

“We look forward to working closely with the Aspers team to maximize our potential through the success of our digital transformations and hope that Aspers will be an important and valuable client for GiG. This type of transaction is directly in our “wheelhouse” and helps land operators digitally transform and display our products in the UK market. “

The contract is expected to expand vertically beyond online casinos later, as of a date that has not yet been determined.
