Playmaker Capital, a digital sports media business, has completed the acquisition of JuanFutbol, a sports media publisher for Mexico.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Playmaker has confirmed that its Futbol Sites brand will integrate the JuanFutbol team to power campaigns in Latin America and the US Hispanic market.
Based in Mexico City, the JuanFutbol team includes social media experts, media planners, video editors, copywriters and data scientists.
JuanFutbol operates a number of social media and digital channels, as well as the sports-focused web properties of Soccerly SAPI de CV. The publisher has more than 6 million followers across social media and his content generates over 50 million monthly reach.
The deal also includes publisher JuanBeisbol baseball-focused assets and FridaPop women-focused sports properties. JuanBeisbol will be the first baseball-focused brand in the Playmaker ecosystem, and FridaPop will complement his Playmaker’s existing her Redgol Fem women’s brand assets in Chile.

The deal comes after Full House acquired TPN Media Group, a creator agency and podcast network that owns sports betting information site PropsHQ.com, known as The Props Network, in May.
