Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has signed two new contracts with carriers in Spain and Portugal to provide platform services to both.
Under this agreement, GiG’s subsidiary Sportnco will enter into Caravel Entertainment Limited of Portugal, which operates the online casino brand Moosh, with an unnamed online operator in Spain.
GiG acquired Sportnco in April of this year with a transaction of € 51.3 million (£ 43.2 million / $ 56.7 million).
Caravel then uses the Sportnco Sportsbook for the moosh.pt website.
Hervé Schlosser, Managing Director of Sportnco, said: “Moosh.pt has great ambitions in the country and is undoubtedly in a perfect position to respond positively to the new dynamics of this growing Portuguese operator.”
Moosh.pt CEO Martin Bengtsson said the deal will allow operators to upgrade their sportsbook offerings.
“It’s been a long process to find the right partner for us, found at sportsbook and platform provider GiG,” Bengtsson said.
“Because their Sportnco subsidiary is well known for providing top-notch sportsbooks, this partnership strongly supports our business. Our players will be updated new when they move to live. I am confident that I will appreciate the sports book. “
In Spain, GiG will support the expansion of unnamed operators into online games scheduled for the end of 2022. The operator currently has 27 game rooms as part of its retail activities and will be GiG’s 13th partner in Spain.
Both transactions have been signed for the first three years. The contract in Portugal has the option of renewing for an additional period, but the contract in Spain may be renewed for another year.
