AGTech secures further terminal tenders in China – Tech & innovation

Beijing AGTech GOT Technology, the Chinese arm of lottery solutions platform AGTech Holdings, has secured a series of bids to bring more sports lottery terminals across the country.

AGTech GOT supplies terminals to Guangxi and Mongolia in the People’s Republic of China, as well as Yunnan, Sichuan, Jiangsu, Hainan and Hubei provinces.

The latest bid win expands AGTech GOT’s presence in the Chinese sports lottery terminal market, with the business making similar deals extensively.

These include contracts signed in January this year to supply technology and services in Gansu, Zhejiang, Henan, Hebei, Jiangsu, and the cities of Shanghai and Tianjin.

“AGTech GOT has won many bids in various provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across China. and demonstrates the continued efforts and competitiveness of AGTech’s lottery terminals,” said AGTech. .

In May, AGTech posted revenue of HK$35.3 million in the first quarter of 2022, up 70.2% year-on-year. AGTech believes this is due to increased sales of lottery hardware, lottery ticket distribution and ancillary services, and the provision of electronic payment services in Macau.

The increase in lottery revenue was due to total lottery ticket sales in China in the first three months of 2022 reaching RMB 86.27 billion, up 2.0% from the same period in 2021.

Lottery hardware sales increased by HK$9.4 million, while lottery ticket distribution and ancillary services revenue increased by HK$4.7 million.
