Four additional operators have filed applications for mobile managed service licenses in Ohio, with WinBet and MaximBet among the brands seeking approval in the state.
As confirmed by the Ohio Casino Control Commission (OCCC), the two operators are Digital Gaming Corporation, which owns the rights to the Betway brand in the United States, and Stake, more commonly known as Prophet Exchange. Along with Trade, they are named.Transfer license
WynnBet, the online gaming division of Wynn Resorts, entered in partnership with Jack Thistledown Racino. WynnBet’s attempt to launch in Ohio dates back to January last year when it announced it had secured a market access deal in Ohio with an unnamed partner.
MaximBet, operated by Carousel Group, has submitted an application to Jack Cleveland Casino. Agreed to a market access agreement in Ohioagain with an unnamed partner.
Meanwhile, Digital Gaming Corporation has partnered with Belterra Park to submit an application to the OCCC. This is also called PNK Ohio on the application form.
Finally, Prophet Exchange applied with COLHOC Limited Partnership, which operates the Columbus Blue Jackets, an Ohio-based National Hockey League franchise.
The application is in addition to applications already submitted to the OCCC. Bet365 and Tipico And also among operators seeking licenses for mobile management services.
Other brands that have contacted OCCC for licenses include BetMGM, PointsBet, Betfair Interactive owned by Rush Street Interactive Flutter Entertainment, Betfred and Penn Sports Interactive.
