Novibet has announced three major milestones in North America, secured market access in New Jersey and Mexico, and also submitted a license application in Ontario.
In New Jersey, the operator secured market access through a partnership with Caesars Entertainment. As a land-based operator, Caesars Entertainment can offer three online betting ‘skins’ for him.
The deal will allow Novibet to provide services through Caesars license for 10 years.
Novibet has also had market access in Pennsylvania for 10 years and plans to launch on both sites next year.
Elsewhere, the operator has also secured market access in Mexico through a partnership with Big Bola Casinos, a major Mexican land-based operator. It is scheduled to go on sale in Japan by the end of this year.
Finally, the operator submitted a license application in Ontario, Canada. If approved, it is expected to go on sale in Ontario in the fourth quarter of this year.
George Athanasopoulos, CEO of Novibet, said: “We are pleased with the progress we have made on this initiative, as evidenced by our expanded partnership with Caesars Entertainment, which provides market access to New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and significant OSB and To address the igaming opportunity and new partnerships, we will work with Big Bola to introduce iGaming and OSB products that are highly regarded by Mexican players later this year.”
The contract and license application will take place as Novibet prepares to become a public company. The operator agreed to merge with special purpose acquisition firm Artemis Strategic Investment Corporation in March, with the combined business expected to be listed on the Nasdaq Exchange. Shortly before this deal was announced, Novibet withdrew from his GB market.
