UK Tote Group names Spencer and Holt non-executive directors – People moves

UK Tote Group, a pool betting operator, has appointed Alresford’s Lord Spencer and Mark Holt as non-executive directors.

UK Tote said this dual addition focuses on product innovation, better value, better customer experience, stronger partnerships to create more liquidity and larger pools, and a continuous growth plan. Said to support.

Sir Spencer is NEXplc, the entrepreneur and founder of the inter-dealer broker ICAP, which became the FTSE100 business in 2006, and its successor, the electronic market service provider. He is also one of over 150 investors in UK Thoth.

Spencer serves on the board of directors of a small number of private companies and became chairman of the Policy Research Center in 2020.

Holt brings experience and knowledge from senior technical positions in many companies. These included the spell as CPA Global Chief Technology Officer and Trainline Chief Technology Officer.

He is currently the Chief Product and Engineering Officer of 10x Banking Technologies Services, a financial services business focused on migrating banks from monolithic to next-generation core banking solutions. In addition, Holt is a non-executive director of Camelot and chairs the diversity of the training business.
