Such venues are allowed to open, but are obliged to operate in line with temporary measures implemented as a result of the country’s transition to martial law during the war.

This includes a curfew in the area, which allows citizens to only go out to other public places such as streets, entertainment and leisure facilities at certain times of the day.

The Commission said the measure would also apply to gambling venues such as casinos and slot machine halls. All of these should only allow customers to enter if permitted by a curfew.

Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine began in February, many companies from across the gambling industry have promised assistance and support to Ukraine.
