The French operator Francaise des Jou (FDJ)’s corporate foundation has given € 200,000 (£ 170,106 / $ 204,849) to two organizations supporting French Ukrainian refugees: a borderless library and a community for human development. I donated.
FDJ has donated 180,000 euros to the Borderless Library. The library will use the funds to fund the creation of mobile applications for refugees. This app is developed in consultation with experts in French (FLE) as a Ukrainian-speaking foreign language.
This application combines French lessons with Ukrainian cultural content and administrative information to cover aspects such as French social norms and administrative procedures required for education or employment.
The application is currently in testing and will be released in September.
FDJ also donated € 20,000 to Together for Human Development, a humanitarian organization that has established overall support for Ukrainian refugees at the Emergency Center in Noisir Grand, a commune on the outskirts of Paris.
