Genius agrees to an official data, transaction and livestreaming agreement with Betsul to enhance Brazilian products.
As part of the deal, Genius Sports will provide Betsul with operations across its sportsbook operations, including a complete suite of data-driven outsourcing tools across PreMatch, LiveTrading and Risk streaming solutions.
The partnership includes Brazilian content from Genius’ Sports, which will live stream soccer, basketball, volleyball, futsal and beach volleyball tournaments through official partnerships with the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (LNB), Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) and Liga Nacional de Futsal. Earlier this week, Brazil announced a proposed change to its sports betting rules, including a license fee of 22.2 million BRL. The regulation also stipulates that overseas-based businesses must have “sufficient capital and economic and financial capacity” to establish a subsidiary in Brazil and conduct business.
